I doodled this in my sketch book weeks ago and kept skipping over it for the paint process. But decided the cute little thing needed some color. So here she is with her favorite little kitty friends. I'm practicing a couple different ways of doing eyes...these I think turned out very nice!

The images for "12 Days" are done on 2.5 x 3.5 inch water color paper using gouache and ink. I will probably sell them as a set of ATC's. Stay tuned tomorrow for the next cute Christmas doodle.

First Day of Christmas...

I'm in the Christmas spirit again and thought I would have a little doodle-fun with an old classic. For the next 12 days I'll post a doodle inspired by "The 12 Days of Christmas" but with a Beckadoodles touch of cuteness! (Sing along) On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me... A Kitty in a Fir Tree.

Sad...

A very dear friend of mine from high school has lost her step-father to pancreatic cancer. He was battling for a short while and passed this afternoon. She lost her father shortly after high school and her mother was lucky enough to find love again. Sad, sad, sad...

New Kitty Doodles

Couple new doodles I finished the other day. Been busy decorating the house and getting in the Christmas spirit...so the doodles had to wait a couple days!

These are more ATC (artist trading cards) I'm planning on completing a large pile then get into the grove of selling prints and originals.

Thirteen Things about BecKaDoodles

I've been out of the TT loop for a long, long time. So I'll play catch up! Here are some new paintings I recently finished in the ATC standards. (ATC stands for Artist Trading Cards) I'm planning on trading and/or selling them soon. They are all gouache and ink on watercolor paper 2.5 x 3.5 inches. I may do a small run (prints) of each design...I haven't really decided what to do! But they are all really cute! (tooting my own horn!)

Christmas Kitties

A few new doodles to add to the pile. I've discovered these cute little doodles living in my head and filled a few pages in my sketch book. I think the cats are the cutest...but I've doodled turkeys, giraffes, reindeer and even an elephant! When I color the rest I'll share their cuteness with my blog friends.

Now I have to go help decorate the yard for Christmas! It's our second year in this house so we've added new stuff!
