I finally took some photos of my studio! We've only lived here a year and it took me a while to paint and organize. It's supposed to be the formal dinning room (and if you know me, you'll know there is nothing formal about me!) so I actually have a whole room to hoard all my art stuff! Take a look around and enjoy all my Stuff!

thats a great idea. Our "formal dining room" has a table in it, but it also has my daughters 'studio' set up on a desk in the corner, and framed kids art all over in there.
I've been dissatisfied not having a 'studio' of my own, since i'm an illustrator. I wonder if I should just make the whole room a studio for everyone, and give up on the whole "formal dining room" idea.

I mean how many times a year do you actually use your dinning room? If you're family is anything like mine, you eat in the kitchen (or the coffee table!)
So I say use that space for work and bring the kids in there too! My son uses it for homework and we have arts and crafts fun-time. And the best thing, I can leave my work and not worry about clearing the table so some one else can use it!
